Brigid B. Mooney, DDS
Dr. Mooney is excited to join Clarendon Family Dentistry after almost a decade practicing dentistry in Northern Virginia. She is trained and experienced in the most advanced dental and cosmetic procedures, including invisalign, veneers, and other minimally invasive techniques to improve your smile. Dr. Mooney is dedicated to taking continuing education courses in order to provide the most comprehensive approach to oral health. She enjoys treating children and adults, and looks forward to welcoming your entire family to our dental practice.
Dr. Mooney was trained in Texas, graduating from Austin College with a degree in Spanish Literature. She continued her education, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Mooney and her husband, Brandon, moved to Northern Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her children, hiking and the outdoors, and volunteering with community organizations. Dr. Mooney is an active member and volunteers in many capacities with the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Elizabeth T. Shaeffer, DDS
Dr. Shaeffer has been setting the highest standards of excellence in family dentistry for over 35 years! An esteemed member of the dental community, she is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Dentistry and an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. In her spare time, Dr. Shaeffer enjoys giving back to her community through the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and the Goodwin House retirement community. She also enjoys gardening, oil painting, and cheering on the Nationals.
