Brigid B. Mooney, DDS
Dr. Brigid Mooney is the proud owner and lead dentist at Clarendon Family Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011 and has been practicing dentistry in Northern Virginia since. In 2021, she joined Clarendon Family Dentistry, and in 2022, she became the practice owner.
Growing up in Texas with a father who was a doctor, Dr. Mooney developed a strong desire to help people from an early age. She originally considered becoming a pediatrician but discovered that dentistry allowed her to combine her love for patient care with creativity. Dentistry has been the perfect blend for her, offering the opportunity to use her hands and artistic side to fix and enhance smiles while incorporating a medical background.
Dr. Mooney’s favorite part of her work is improving her patients' smiles and overall oral health. She takes great pride in working alongside a dedicated team whose top priority is patient care, and she loves collaborating with them to exceed patients' expectations.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Mooney enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and their three young sons. Whether traveling, gardening, hiking, or volunteering in their community, her family loves being outdoors. One of their more unique family hobbies is beekeeping, and Dr. Mooney is the official honey harvester, proudly providing fresh honey for the family to enjoy.
Dr. Mooney is also active in professional organizations, including the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and looks forward to becoming more involved again as her children grow older.

This is the most excellent dental team. Today my experience was with the hygienist who rates an 11 out of 10. She is skilled, and caring, and very patient. The dentists too are great.
